Taikomochi

This is Shichikou Sakuragawa, one of five (yes, five now, not four) taikomochi left in Japan. I felt so honored to have met him, and he was really funny. Great performance which I will put up later.

Taikomochi are male geisha and accompany female geisha to keep ozashiki lively by performing dances and acting out funny skits. You can almost think of them like jesters.
