Aaaaahhhhh I spent two days on this texture.... and what's grand about it (it sitll needs a bit of work) is I painted it solely inside Blender, right onto the model! :dance:

Nice work :) I have only done colour maps (for particle hair) directly in Blender, haven't tried hardcore texture painting as I found it really kludgy.  Haven't looked in the most recent version though as I've been too busy layering feathers forever XD
