Ohayocon Maiko

I went to Ohayocon dressed as a maiko (apprentice geisha). I realize that I don't seem to have the red cloth at the bottom of my obi (in case anyone noticed). I actually am wearing it but it ended up slipping up under my obi just as my obiage slipped up and looks a bit funny. I was dressed a bit more smoothly the second day I went.

The whole get-up took 6 months to make/put together and a big buget. The only thing not pre-made was the maiko bag which I got imported from Japan. The kimono/hikizuri was made from cotton (much easier to handle than silk!)

Erg my hair was kinda messed up that day o.0
